I am looking for a fuel pump relay plug for my 86 B2. The plug that was on my truck was removed before I bought it and the metal clips from the last plug was just plugged into the relay directly and taped together. This method has worked for me for the past year but now I am having fuel pump problems and I figured I better start there. I went to the local pick and pull and I can't find the same plug. Anyone know if there is a place I can get this plug new? Or anyone know of somebody with a parts B2 or ranger that could sell me one? I have an offroad trip coming up March 8th and I have to get the B2 running. Thanks!

If you don't care about stock looking buy a generic relay and plug. I use my local electronics supply, Ko-hen Electronics Supply Ltd. I find they are 1/4 the price of auto-parts places.

I found this plug at advance auto parts and it is labeled as an alternator plug but looks like it will fit the fuel pump relay. My question can anyone use my pic and tell me what colored wire goes to which clip? The wires in the new plug are all white and the old ones in the B2 are all loose and I don't want to wire it up wrong and cause a bigger issue. I know my pic is small but it is numbered and if anyone could take the time out of there day to let me know what color goes where. Mine is an 86 so I am not sure if the colors are different in the 87 or up. I would greatly appreciate it.

As you will see the new plug has a little ridge on the bottom left corner the original relay that is in the B2 now doesn't have this little notch so I am either going to have to sand down the notch on the connector or try and find a new relay that has the notch.

This one will work but you have to grind the tab off the bottom the horn and fuel pump relay is on the other side then you wire it
2-yellow
3-orange
4-red
5-tan
on your engine harness

Thanks for all the help everyone! Hopefully when I put this new plug in my B2 will be running again. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Sorry though I posted it but the number 1 terminal on the connector is the yellow wire from the battery.

lol no problem i figured whichever one is left id hook to #1. Thanks for the update :icon_thumby:
