Incredibly chilling really. Song was inspired by Orwell's 1984, and was released in 1982.. one year before the internet as we now know it existed.

Now... 4 decades later... They sky is full of satellites capable of zooming in on your face far enough to see exactly how many clogged pores you have on your nose... And we have government, government proxys, and every single type of corporation LITERALLY 'watching every move you make'... All day, every day.. whether it be on the Internet or not. Steps are currently being taken EVERYWHERE to exponentially increase the amount of tracking and reduce the amount of privacy we have too... By an incredibly large amount. Scary stuff...

Yeah, I was smoking cigarettes at the smoke hole in view of the office when I was in high school. And in the restaurant where I worked after school. I wish I had never started tho!...

Not really a site problem. (More of a people problem.) But IDK where else to suggest this:
Would it be possible or feasible to auto-lock threads with a last post date older than say 3 years or something? Maybe with an option to request unlocking of some form? I know it'd add to moderator workload. I'll volunteer to help if that's ok.

Why do you want to lock useful threads? Just because a question was asked years ago doesn't mean that everyone used the info and solved that issue back then. Things change. I rather read an old thread than 20 of the same question asked by 20 different people. Nevermind. Let's through away anything older than a year

We'd rather not lock useful threads. There are times when it's appropriate to revisit those conversations.

None of that applies to the dozens of posts you made recently to old threads, adding unnecessary (and often incorrect) information.
