Hey guys, got the tanks all finished. Pressure tested them, holds good pressure. Anyways, here are some pics for you to look at.

I welded in a piece of angle underneath the bed.

and ran hose up into the bed. I am going to make a cover for them, perhaps tomorrow.

Went wheeling with some buddies, it was a gorgeous day out. Didnt get too many action pics, but here something for you guys to look at. The Jeep is on 38 tsl's, with a Dana 60 front, 80 rear. The toyota is on 37 iroks, sas'd dual detroits/ dual t cases. I climbed everything they did though

k.....got an M5OD-R1HD on the way! its from a 2007 ranger with 33 000 km, should be in good shape.

I will document the swap, although it should be a straight up bolt in.

Alright, so my new tranny, M5OD-R1 HD is sitting in the box of my truck its actually from an 06, but only ad 42 000 km on it. Should be minty fresh Ill get pics tomorrow. Also going to pick up a new slave.

haha thanks guys. Yeah we routinely see -50 degrees Celsius during the winter. That turns fluids into solids Ive switched to all synthetic fluids for this winter, should help.

Ill post my HD swap when I do it.

Idler pulley and belt tensioner were shot, so they got replaced, also a Goodyear Gatorback belt. No more squealing under the hood

Hey guys, so my tranny has been shot for sometime now, inputs LOUD, outputs LOUD, 2nd and 3rd gear syncros NON-EXISTANT. I was going to rebuild my R1, but after looking at prices, decided to get ahold of an M5OD-R1 HD tranny from a wrecked 2006 ranger with 42 000 kms.

It is a night and day difference, so much nicer to drive, and so much smoother.

Not sure when Im going to get my air compressor in....found a leaky rear wheel seal, that kind of takes priority.
