Nathan's "The Rangebe"

could you tell me the part # for that snorkle and you have nice truck.

Your rig looks really good and very functional. I really like the clean mount fabbed up for your hi-lift jack. Only i'd add mounts for two more necessary (in my opinion) trail tools... a D-handle shovel and an ax with about a 2 foot handle. Then you'd be prepared for whatever is thrown at you for sure. Not that you'd ever need them but you never know what might fail in the middle of no where and you'd be prepared for most obstacles. Seriously great job I like your motto of function over form.

Got it from trucktentscanada.com it was a demo so I got it for 120$ :D. It works awesome and is huge inside.

Awesome truck man! Its very functional and yet looks great at the same time! How far of range do you get with your CB antenna in the back? Also did you make the bracket for it?
Great truck man!

Hey man, yeah I did make it, range is a couple miles I think, I only use it for trail use so its good for me. I forgot to put the build of it in here, so here it is:

I made an antenna mount from some scrap steel...

I ran a hot wire into the cab through the hood release grommet, over to the passenger side and wired in a fuse block behind the passenger side kick panel.

I like everything you've done to the truck so far. What's next?

man, you are good at what you do. I like how you made it a point to make everything look clean not just hacking it up.

That is probably the nicest complement I have ever received, thank you.

Hey guys so a little update. A buddy of mine gave me some old oxygen tanks, and with a little inspiration from Plumcrazy ( need to give credit where it's due) came up with this.

I will just keep it charged with shop air for now until I rig up a compressor. There are drain cocks on each tank. For safety there is a 250 psi pressure release valve. The line from the tanks will go the manifold, where there is a pressure gauge, as well as quick connects for filling and attaching an air line to.

I am going to pressure test everything before I put it under my truck (where the spare tire used to be) and run the manifold into the bed.

Keep looking for updates :icon_thumby:

thanks bro, if you have any questions about anything feel free to ask :)

Update....re-welded the bungs on the air tanks, my welds are air tight. However some of the brass fittings I bought were cheap and are leaking. Going to sort those out, and paint up the tanks.

Also ordered a compressor, I didnt want to drop a ton of cash on a real nice one now, so I bought a cheap one. Its 12 v, pulls 16 amps; max output is 150 psi, 1.4 cfm, and 50% duty cycle at 0 psi. It was only 93$, and as little as it will get used I dont care. Plus my tanks are only just over 2 gallons.

It will do for now.
