Nasty weather around Dallas

No kidding - I've got family up there. I haven't been able to get in touch with them and hope they are ok. Those storms are going to hit us fairly soon and shouldn't be as bad - just freaking hail.

Yeah,I was watching on the internet as it happened. Crazy how powerful those things are....tractor trailers flying through the air

I had to go and get the kids at school. Watched two go through Dallas/Mesquite about a mile from where I was parked. Parked close to the building and was ready to make a dash for the collage building if needed.

Saw lots of rain and hail in McKinney. Some areas really got hammered though

About seven miles from the house on I20

:icon_surprised: hope everybody is O.K. over there!!!!

We have friends out that way. The called to let us know they are fine. They did not get any damage. So sorry for those people who lost their homes!!! Just horrible.....

Those trailers weigh about 15,000#s empty!:shok:

:icon_surprised: nature can get rough...there's even a story in the good-book....Moses stated that he was caught in a terrible wind while crossing a mountain....he had to wedge himself into a gap in the face of the rock because the wind increased until it was breaking boulders loose around him....
