Name that part

Once again I need some help. I'm new to the Ranger game and i don't really know part names. Whats the name of the plastic piece that has two vacuum lines going into it on the front of the upper intake beside the throttle body? And what would cause those two lines to keep popping off while driving?

You should have a vacuum diagram similar to this under the hood could it be like the egr regulator in this diagram. Are the vacuum lines hard or do they fit nice and tite.
