Greetings Earthings. Do not be afraid. Im only here to pillage your virgins and rape your long hairD goats. (or was it the other way arround? oh well, lets do both). Where do I start (shock them whidth something...) I useD to be a Mopar adict (ok, I still am). Then I wound up width a ford. Since I kinda got useD to it, its aint so bad really. After a couple hundred (half a million) miles I think Im gonna keep it. In fact, its such a part of me, I cant imagine starting over with anything else, even a new ranger.

1st, I am certainly not an expert nor do I play one on the internet. But, I do know (or at least have fleeting memories) of what has happend to me. I can tell you about the normal nightmares of hubs, xfer cases, clutches, rear endz, air cond. probs that I muddled through. Or about the unique mods that only a few would even care about.

My Story: I stared out life rather young, but I really dont remember. Then I got the ranger (2nd one, I admit I had a '67 once) to satisfy a need for small/lightweight/economy considerations that Dodge could not satisfy at the time. You see, I got this job where I was moving trucks and stuff across the county and I needed a towcar to pull behind in order to have transpo/bed instead of depending on Greydog/Motel#. Ok, fast forward, I then needed 4wd so I could 'wheel into all the cool places that I could see from the interstate. I wound up with a Longbed 98 5speed from Utah and have truely had a ball ever since.

I wont bore u any further (today), but If I can figure out how to put up pics&stuff Ill bore you some more then. Lemme know if theres anything I can help width:)

doesn't that get cold in the back in the winter?

Below about 50F I can either blow heat from the dash (now that gas is cheep) through the sealed, pass through winder (btw, I rigged it all up to a thermostat, thats another story...), or use a small propane catheater like in the old days (last month). Mostly though I just try to avoid cold. (how do you yankees put up with that crap??) Also when its too hot to sleep, I blow AC from the dash:)
