My Truck Transformation - 94 4x4

i think you need bigger tires. i clear the same tires on 15x8 with 3 3/8" backspacing and it looks sweet

another suggestion would be to remove the plastic bed liner and do a roll on liner. the plastic ones destroy the beds with rust. i need a new bed because the front two mounts have rotted away.
other than that sweet truck

Thats not a bad idea, the roll on bedliner, maybe a good summer project.

Got the ball joints swapped out for Moog hardware and found the toe was off on the alignment. Got that all straightened out and the truck drives great. Ended up having to replace the hard line from the MC to the drivers side junction block too, as it seems the flare was bad, or maybe I screwed it up when I installed the stainless lines... Anyway, she's in tip top shape now.

Next up I think I'll see if I can find a good deal on some offroad lights or do a little rust control on that drivers door.

Pulled out two stuck full-size chevy's tonight

One of them had tried to plow through a large mudhole and was up to its cab in water and mud, with 4x4 that went out (lost a hub maybe?). Came upon him just as a buddy of his arrived to help pull him out in another chevy 4x4, who backed down in, hooked up, and then proceeded to get stuck as well, also lost 4x4. I backed the ranger down there, dropped to 4 low, hooked up and pulled the first guy out with ease, then repeated for the other guy. :icon_hornsup:

i just read------i mean went thru the 3 pages and looked at pics.. lol.
nice truck.. your to do list on the first page is wicked tho lol...

oh and one word for ya-- UNDERCOAT!

lol thanks :) you don't like the way she looks under her skirt? ha, I think she's seen her share of salty winters!

sharp looking truck man!
i really like the stance it has.

makes me want some 32"s LOL

nice truck man, ive got a 94 single cab 4x4 im workin on, im thinkin on doing something like that

Thanks guys, I'm really happy with the stance too, the key is the 3.75" backspacing on the wheels.

Trying to remember, yes, I believe I did. If I remember right there was a hole already in one of them, but might have been there from previous owner. I had to drill another hole next to it to get the center of the mount moved over to align the lights properly.

I did have to trim down the brackets slightly to get them to fit. I used a cutting wheel and a drill bit to shorten up the "feet" on the procomps

Had a local fabricator make me some light tabs since nobody seems to sell them online anymore, and they turned out great. Mounted up some KC driving lights, can't wait to wheel it at night now!

Time for a new exhaust, since I drove over the one I had..... combination of the front hangers rotting away and the connection to the cat failed, dropping the front of the exhaust on the trail, which snagged, and wrapped under the truck. So had to snag a deal on a Dynomax exhaust and bolted it up

Only slight modification was necessary, since this is a cat-back for a 98+ ranger. I had to move the rear hanger forward on my truck, and insert about a 10" extra section of pipe. Sounds good though, probably the nicest part on the truck.
