ever back over your own mud flap? i did last night... bent the arm that holds it into place and tore the plastic up some. for now i'm gonna re-bend it as much as possible. i might even cut an inch or 2 off the bottom of the flaps. if anyone has any stock flaps with hardware laying around (in good condition) please let me know.
forgot to mention that it's a 94 4.0 xlt 4x4 and i still can't believe a damn piece of plastic stopped my mule.

if it didn't happen i wouldn't be asking if any one has any laying around. i might be able to borrow a camera so you can see the damage to the flap, but at 11:00pm 12*F i wasn't thinking about damn pics.

Relax mang...just giving you a hard time....still trying to figure out though how you managed to get the mudflaps that close to the tires...

sry last few night have been rough at the new place ... well from what i can tell i was in a hole to begin with... there was about 8 inches of snow over about 1 inch of ice. looks like the snow that was under it held it long enough to catch as i was backing out of the lil hole. oddly i started looking under the hood when it happened kinda confused... left it for the night and found the flap twisted to hell under the tire. luckily it didn't tear it out of the bed.

Haha, done that in my dad's work truck once... we fixed that by attaching chain in a "V" pattern, attaching to two points on the mudflap, to one point on the bumper to hold the flap away from the wheel when backing up.

/edit: Nevermind, I just comprehendeed what just happened. If you get longer rubber ones though, do what I just said. Haha.

got it almost straight now, i'm thinking of just cutting the bottom 2" off the flaps with a cutting wheel and dust mask.

I might have the mudflaps off my truck. not sure though
