truck stalled while driving

Yep going to replace the basics that r cheap and easy. My 07 uplander is doing similar issues. Not starting. No crank at all. Sputters and no throttle response. You d battery cables were loose and I cleaned the throttle body a month ago. This is the family van so it has to be reliable

I haven't had a chance to test the coil pack while it is acting up. I tested it when it is running good and it is sparking every wire like it should. I replaced the coolant temp sensor and broke the coolant temp sender on accident. Now my coolant temp doesn't read at all. I sued thread tape but only on the top half of threads. Today the truck seems to be running better. Normally I don't have issues in the morning. Seem to have issues later in the day when it is warmer out. Truck seemed really warm even though the temp was normal. Hopefully the cheap fixes are all it needed. Just gotta get a new coolant temp sender today.

If that sender is the one-wire type, I wouldn't use any thread tape or dope. It needs good metal contact as a ground or it won't work.

I hope it works out.

replaced the coolant temp sensor and seems to be the issue. so far so good. its been 4-5 days and no issues.

Glad you got it fixed. I was pretty confident that's what it was.

Wow, I never would have even thought of the temp sensor (I’m so not an auto computer guy). Really glad you got it fixed and that it was something small.

Kudos to the great folks here for helping a fellow RS member out!!
