My truck runs HORRIBLE. If i start it after its already warmed up it barely runs. It sputters and sounds like its definitely misfiring, not getting fuel, or not running on one or more cylinders. After driving it like this for a few minutes it eventually goes back to "normal." Normal is still pretty bad. It bogs down if i floor it completely. The temp gauge also fluctuates from cold to normal frequently. Im thinking its my thermostatic control valve opening and closing. Could this be causing my misfire/horrible running engine on startup? Its also throwing an engine code for the EGR. Im thinking of changing the EGR valve. Any suggestions?
