I know its a little bit dirty, but thats what happens when you drive them. (LoL). What do you guys think?

If you want to see the entire process of what it took to complete the transformation from old white beater, into the truck it is today, check out my cardomain site.

looks good. big difference from how it used to be to now. good job, I wish my dad was mechanically inclined enough to work on my truck with me. well he helped drill out rivets.

Yea, he made me learn how to do most of the work, do the reasearch and all that, but he was always there to help me actualy do it.

Nice color heh heh. You definitely need to do something about those rims though. Awesome hood and bodywork too.

If you want to sell it you let me know!! :icon_thumby:

Ok will do, but you'll know before i contact you, as hell would have frozen over lol.:D

and i am working on the rims thing, like i said i needs money, and I want a little more juice under the hood more than i want rims :-D.

I know this will sound cheesy, but i want to find an old school set of rims with hubcaps on them, just to be different and make people scratch the heads saying "wtf is wrong with that boy" lol :D

Oh and what color did you use, I know mine is some random after market color from our local car paint supplier.
I have 3 coats of base and 5 coats of clear. (i like shinny :D)
But I like the color on your truck too, gotta love them blue rangers.
Oh yea, I have those chrome trim pieces for the wheel wells, do you think i should put them back on, I have heard that they cause the bed and fenders to rust out faster, is that true?

I like that hood
and good looking ranger

If your interested i can get you the info on the guy who sells them. He makes them in his barn behind his house, we have gotten several from him for various different projects. They don't fit perfect, but you can finagle them enough to "look straight"

and speeking from hard earned = experience if you go with an 1-off fiberglass aftermarket hood, use hood pins. I didn't and had the hood come up on my on the free way. Note, the hood was 100% un-harmed, but the windshield visor, cowl plate, funny peice of metal behind the hood and infront of the cab with vents on it,(what ever you want to call it) was beat to shit. I used a port o' power to fix that, and no no pictures exist of that as it was a very, bad time to know me, when that happened.

Got my truck finished, again, the last time I thought it was done and had begun plans for a motor swap, a freak hail storm tore through centeral ohio the day that i had finally put all the logos back on it, and window trims, and then I had a lot more body work to do.

At least when I put the cowl hood on it i got 2 weeks of driving it, but yea it pissed me off. It happened on my way to solo and ensemble concert, lets just say that a man in his sunday's best pullin the hood of a ford ranger, on the side of the highway, caused more than one person to stare at me funny, worse yet, my mom was pissed because i got greese on my sleeves, lol.

But yea, USE HOOD PINS! save your self the anger, the fustration, the dealing with your mom because you sleeve got dirty.

what motor are you planning dropping in one day? 302?

That is a nice looking truck; you did a great job on it.

The color is stock, light blue metallic. I sold that truck with 60k on it, all original. :bawling:

A nice set of alum. rims are cheaper than you think and definitely worth it.

And I love my 2.3, if i did a swap it'd be to a 2.3 turbo. But no matter what ya go with that truck is pretty sick.

Thanks, I keep seeing trucks that are similar color to mine, like yours was, untill i get up next to them. I am color blind so I can't really see it, but I am told when you look at it during certin times, my truck has green, and purple in the paint. But idk, I need to get more pics up, and have you guys tell me if my friends are just being jerks.

Your right, nothing in the world like driving a blue Ranger. . . . Very nice work on that truck! Nice to see another old ranger brought back for more service! Best of luck with it!
