i have the front set forward otherwise it wouldnt clear the tranny cross member, the wheels are jeep rubi rims with 31 inch MTR's

I was refering to a 90's, as you were. So no, they don't have frames. Any number of things could have told it is a Ranger frame, if you would have looked at it. Like spring hangers, transmission crossmember, etc. So

The "79 Cherokee frame" Is from a Grand Waggy or Cherokee Chief. Regulare Cherokees are a unibody.
