My next ranger- '92 2.3 2wd longbed

1 year later update, I still like it but it does need some work. Fuel milage is horrible for a 4 cyl, actually does better driving it as a 4 speed, would only get 17 in o/d, now I can hit 20 by not using 5th. Should get 23 in town easy. Compression test shows very uneven compression, not sure if valves or rings. Going to overhaul it someday, just got a 180k mile 97 with a 3.0 automatic to get going (for 500 bucks) will drive it while the "polar express" is down, I did manage to tow the "new" ranger home with this 92 granted I didnt go over 35 mph.
