My new toy

I recently purchased an 87 Ranger 4WD...It has 6'' of lift and 36s...I can tell by driving it desperately needs some gears...I have looked over other forums on here on where to buy gears...But what I don't know is how to tell what kind of DIFFS are in my truck...How can I figure it out?..

look on the axle houseing tag or on the door panel label and in the tech section it tells you how to figure out what you have
