I just bought this 1990 Bronco II yesterday for $500.00 and I'm already in Love with it. I cant wait to lift it and get some bigger tires on it. It needs exhaust work as it is extremely loud inside the truck. It's got typical Wisconsin rust but I couldn't go wrong for what I paid for it.

:icon_thumby:Damn nice find how you have some fun with you have to post up some more pics once you get it lifted with 38s under it :yahoo:

LOL I'm gonna go for some 31's or 33's as a starting point and go from there. I already did some driving through some snow with it. It really needs bigger tires the stockers just don't cut it.

The most amazing part of the deal I thought was that the interior is immaculate. Nothing is broken the carpet is super clean the seats don't have any holes whatsoever and it even smells good. I'll post some pics as soon as its light out.

Looks like a good starting point for a wheeler. Though I'd say that is hardly "typical" WI rust. There is barely any rust on it!!! But you got a great deal. Looking forward to seeing a build on it.

There is some rust on it but it's ninja like rust it's hiding. It rusted on the inside of the the fenderwells and the bottom of the rocker panels are rusting through but it's not too bad. No need to convert it to 4x4 it is already :yahoo: It needs shocks really bad it's like a boat hitting waves going down the road:bad: I'm super excited like a little kid that just got a new toy.

I've seen my fair share of Wisconsin rust. Owned quite a bit, too. That thing's a gem...

What part of the big cheese are you from?

Nice! Just need to re-spray the blue and clearcoat. Good find.

I'm from the Southwestern part of the state. A little town called Livingston. As far as rust goes it isn't too bad except when i went to go replace the front left shock absorber and it was completley rusted through.:annoyed:
I like the whitewalls on it. They give it some style:D It needs some more work now, I went to hop in it to go to work and it wouldn't start so I had to drive the Ranger.

Just the shock absorber?

My 90 ranger had a rusted rear leaf shackle that snapped (drove it like that for a few years), the tranny crossmember was rotted out, and the lower part of the passenger door was completely rotted. The outer door sheet metal was like a flap, you could lift it and stick your head inside. My 91 f150 (sold a few years back) had it pretty bad too. My 87, being an Ohio truck, isn't nearly as bad as my two Wisconsin trucks. Still has rust though.:icon_bounceblue:

Holy Buckets! Mine isn't that bad. This had both rear spring shackles replace by the previous owner a couples days before I bought it. Both Left side shocks were completley rust through giving me the wave effect while driving. I had an 88 T-bird Turbocoupe that had a flappy door and oh boy did it get cold during the winter. It's kinda hard to believe how much damage salt can do.

Here are some interior pics, it's kinda dirty right now but everything is intact.

The only rust seems to be at the corners at the bottom of the body.
These shots are on the drivers side of the body

These shots are from the passenger side. If you look close you can see that the body mount on this side is rotted out.
