So I got my first Bronco2 3 weeks ago. I got it with a new engine, but the manual tranny with absolutely destroyed. So I immediately went to autozone and bought a new transmission for it along with a new clutch set and synthetic fluid. Just got it back yesterday after being gone for 2 weeks. Autozone ordered the wrong transmission, nice right? But all is well, after 1300 dollars it is amazing and I would have no Problem driving it to Cali! It is a 85 Eddie Bauer 4x4. Tell me what you think.

Thats nice man! Very nice! So all and all, how much was your truck so far? I think 1300 is pretty good for a brand new trans (as opposed to Junk yard)

well 800 in the truck by itself with the broken trans. But i got a radar detector cd player and new speakers so I got about 2400 in it, but she will got to the moon and back no problem. runs and sounds brand new. I have had 14 cars since i was 16 and now im 21 and this has to be my fave.

Damn that is a clean ride!! All i see that it needs exterior wise is a good cleaning and waxing to make that paint pop again. And then take the tire carrier off and clean and paint it black again along with the back bumper endcaps. And then taking some black heat paint to the exhaust. Add some BFG A/Ts to it to make it look beefier and i wuljd love to have it!

Thats the plan. I dont want to hack it up, so no huge lifts. Im gonna do the washer spacer lift, then put some 235 yokohoma geolander at's on it. I buffed that paint out when i got it and the driver side looks good when its clean, but some idiot thought they could spray some rattle can clear on the other side, and it was an epic fail. So a factory color repaint is on the way. Im gonna get a new dash cap and carpet for the interior, spruce it up a bit. Gonna get some funds saved up and start a restoration build in a few months.
