This is my new baby. It's a 1984 ford bronco 2. It has a 2.8l with a 150,000 miles, and a 5 speed tranny and of coarse it's a 4x4 :headbang: also it has a 3" body lift and 32" superswampers :icon_thumby:

A little damage on the door and the driver side window wing is out. (duct tape is everyone's best friend VVV)

Plans:
fix the interior,
bad ass stereo system,
take out the body lift and put in a tough country 4" suspension lift
clean up everything
and possible professional paint job and a 4.0l swap!

Thank you, Got her for $1,350 from a kid about my age (17) who had a cardiac arrest and since he couldn't go to work, he lost his job and needs to pay the medical bills. So I felt bad for taking his baby but I'll treat her right!

Wow, thats a horrible story but it's best that she's somewhere she'll get the TLC she needs. I hope her previous owner can get back on his feet. Also what are you gonna do for that gap under the tailgate?

Looks nice, glad to see there are still some 2.8's out there still.

But doesnt look like it can flex much and how is that front end and rear end hold up to those tires let alone the engine turn them over?

A lot of clutch work, I'm sure.

OP: Great looking rig bud! I had an 87 Bii, and loved every mile behind the wheel.

If I were you, I would go with the SuperLift 5.5" lift. Much cheaper, and basically the exact same thing. I don't think you'll regret having the extra 1.5":icon_cheers: I picked mine up for around $5-600 shipped. I can't remember exactly how much it was. If you look in my build thread, there is a link in there. I'll try and dig it up for you:icon_thumby:

Have fun with the build!

Never mind, I can't find the link. I'll have to dig up the receipts when I go home on Thursday.

Edit: With a little thread hunting..............

National Tire and Wheel is the place I bought mine from. $513 shipped with the shock boots (color of your choice). If you look on the site, it says like $800 for the 6", but if you call, tell the guy you want to $499 6", and he'll hook you right up.

Thank you guys, I am going to fix the gap by replacing it with a suspension lift. I might do a SAS in the future too.

Oh yeah, there's one thing I forgot the previous owner cut the pipe off 6" from the cat and the fumes were killing me so I put a pipe on it that goes back to the axle then points to the ground but it's still LOUD! :headbang:

let me know if you if you wanna get rid of the bl when you put the other in!

good looking 84 b2! I don't know if it's my eyes or what, but what color is it? i can't tell if it's green, tan or grey.
