Just thought I would post up my new Ranger. . .
. . .it's a '99 4WD extended cab with the 4.0L V6, backed by a 5-spd. manual transmission (M50D-R1 right?) and BW1354E transfer case. . .
. . .the only thing I have done since I got the Ranger last week was replace the completely worn out, bald tires that came on it with a set of 31x10.50x15" BF Goodrich M/T KM2's (which so far are AWESOME. . .nice beefy look and no noticeable road noise either!) and to crank the torsion bars to bring the front ride height level with the front (and fit the 31's).
I will be starting a build thread for this truck sooner or later (hoping to build a 302 powered Ranger based loosely on the 7200 class. . .with the exception of the V8), but it will have to wait it's turn. . .I have a '49 Jeep Willy's pick-up truck and a '94 Jeep YJ Wrangler that are in line ahead of it, so for now it will be my DD. I may upgrade to some Deaver leaf springs and a Fiberwerx Ranger-to-F150/Expedition fiberglass front end and 6" bedsides before I really tear into this thing, but that will be about it until I'm done with the other two in front of it.
Here's a pic. . .
