FOUR DAYS of farting arround with the timing belt and timing sensor and still nothing and then for some reason i pulled a little black plug out of the wiring harness and now she runs like a raped ape.:yahoo:
 
what harness? the crankshaft positioning sensor harness?

Well, I hope it wasn't a male ape...that may hurt him for a bit...but, then again, not too good for the female apes either...

Good to hear you figured it out...always something simple...
 
somethimes the smallest things cause the biggest problems.is a spout connector the same as a dead mans switch?
 
I'm not 100% sure what the spout does on a DIS engine since it doesn't have adjustable timing... if it does what it does on a distributor engine it just makes it run at 10* spark timing.
