my junk pile

I moved this to the PreRunner forum and left a redirect in the other forum it was in that will expire in (2) weeks.

Jim, works for me too.

copycat, tell me about it! Should be pretty soon. As I have everything to put the front shock's together again.(the curse of this truck thus far)But I have a bad feeling its going to end up leaking.
Just glad this is not a spring carrier shock.Cause by all mean this cap should have been thrown in to the "try again" pile.with porosity like this in the threads of a sealing surface.

Also got rid of this dam thing.

prefer being able to lock up the rear brakes when I please.

Got the two link put on.

stuffed a lockrite in the rear.Bought one off a member.Went to the junkyard a few days later and found another one. So stole that for 20 bucks and sold the other one to my nephew.

Also found my manual hub that my younger nephew, figured it was better as a toy than a truck part awhile back.Found it in his box of trucks. Little turd stole it awhile back when I had the truck apart before.swore he burried it , but did not rember where in the yard...little thief.

raced around the block a few times the other day in it.Put the 5100's on the front.between the locker and the 2 link the truck hooks up pretty good.and no wheel hop in the dirt or the street.
Think the next thing will be aftermarket motor and trans mounts.something a little more solid. And some mounts for some "real" shocks on the back. have a pair of 14 and 16 inch sway a way's .

So close, so far away

You got Pics of your two link bars. Are they the Autofab ones?

yep, the autofab ones......

this is the only pic I have right now that really shows them.IF you look fthrew my photobucket there are a few other pics, that half way show the 2link from when I had the bed off.

were the **** is that on autofab i swear there site sucks

Yea I wish they had prices displayed for ALL their stuff. I realize things are subject to change but it's nice having a ball park figure.

Anyways, how much did that 2-link setup cost? I was thinking about getting the James Duff traction bars for my Mazda 2wd 3.0. Not the full-size big ones just the little ones. But I think they will limit my travel and bump soaking ability. My axle wrap is kinda weak sauce though so I wanna get something on there to fix it.

IF you look under the "shop truck" or the fulsize bronco,There is a little bit about the 2link on autofab.com.

probably have a lot harder time grabbing second gear now eh? it takes some of the fun out of the 4.0

where do you get better mounts for these trucks?

Autofab sells them. they are about 250 for the motor mounts and 130 IRC for the tranny mount.

Canyon if you find another lunchbox locker for an exploder 8.8 let me know, i have kinda been searchin for one and let me know how the autofab mounts work out. im goin to put some in the race truck when the factory one take a dump (had new ones in it so i couldnt justify gettin the autofab ones since teh truck is on a budget, but a ratchet strap will take care of too mcuh engine movement should they come apart lol)
