My idea of a Shelby Ranger if there would have been one.

wheels come off with a screwdriver?

lol I wish.. Thats a whole nother story.. So Chick drives car.. Takes car last year and has new tires put on.. Jackasses tighten lugs so tight I had to use a 4 way lug wrench and put a floor jack on the one end and jack it up to break them loose.
With me pulling up and her standing bouncing on the other side and the lugs still wouldn't budge

I have never seen lugs that tight in all my years.... :

My dads 250 came back from the dealer one time and the lugs where so tight I used a breaker bar and a 8 foot pipe to get them off

I remember when I started working on cars my gun would not take lugs off the F-150s. That gun sucked balls though.

That's crazy... I was a Tech for years and I always made sure the lugs could be broke loose... It's almost like less and less people take pride in what they do anymore...

One of these comes in very handy when dealing with removing lug nuts tightened by an idiot with a 3/4in impact:

Torque multiplier that goes between your socket and ratchet/breaker bar. They usually have about a 4:1 reduction gearbox in the head. The bar rests against the ground to keep it from rotating.

When I bought my f250, I bough new bearings to replace them, and planned to rebuild the hubs, 3 different impact guns, breaker bars, pipes on the ends, not a single one would move at all... I was convinced they were welded to the rims... So, the entire time I had that truck, no new tires, no rebuilding the hubs, no brake checks... Oh well...

Thank God you never needed to take them off! That's insane!!

Those were from the factory. That was an underpowered Ever-Crap gun though, I'm actually kinda surprised I never had a wheel fall off while I had it.

I had a Snap on impact.. I think it was something like 600lbs forward and 800 reverse.. It was hard to break them loose if I used it at full power.. I started running the lugs up with the impact then finishing them by hand after I had a hell of a time breaking my own after a flat loose..

In the past 2 days i read all 144 pages, i just want to say i am very jealous, and that you have one impressive machine sir. You do amazing work. Keep it up.

Well I finally got the urathane bushings for the front swaybar... Now she has all the chassie and suspension bushings in the urathane flavor.. Not sure how she handles yet but hopefully a trip up to the N. Ga mountains soon will show...
