Hi everybody, I’ve been reading this form for a while but just never joined. I purchased an old Ranger XLT first generation in 24. I bought my little Ranger for about 2500. It was in great condition. It was a two owner vehicle sowing 84000 miles. A gentleman had just purchased it from a deceased individual in town after begging the wife for quite some time and that individual had put a lift kit on it. It also had a rack and pinion steering, but I just bought it because I thought it would be a great truck to learn on and well it was cute!

Immediately on purchasing, a significant of mine took it up the street and left it on the corner and I’m not so great neighborhood. Funny thing was he had somebody follow him so he had a ride back which was just weird.It was having gas fuel problems where it would cut off , huge vapor lock that eventually replacing the fuel filter handled. All of that I knew something was up so I made him take me up to where it was and when I got there, I looked under the car and someone had dropped the trans as there was dirt all over the bottom of the pan I don’t think they were dropping it to take it. I think they were checking what was in it.

Since then, multiple occurrences have happened I’ll come out to my car and things will be semi disconnected the engine now tilted funny, lots of things will look different. The vacuum lines will be changed around this occurred multiple times.

In November, I would see my car moving in the middle of the night. I’d get out there. Nobody would be there. I was taking lots of pictures from the window and I actually had photographic evidence of someone in the Tree on platforms all geared up like a hunter face painted and this is what I knew they were stealing parts of my car. Whoever it is cleaned up the parts and would bring it back and I’d find pieces all over the yard. (Significant scraps) not knowing what someone were. I would take pictures in. Do some Google searches found suspension parts, I found my engine temperature sensor (that’s gone again by the way )various pieces of metal because this was an XLT so I had a really nice patina on the metal. I had another picture where two people were in our yard one was on my boyfriend’s work truck and the other ones walking in between that and my truck .now when I took the picture I didn’t see them. One was a younger black gentleman, and the other one was an older gentleman white with glasses and he snapped pictures as He walked past my car, but he did it very discreetly.
Since then, it has been an absolute nightmare, trying to protect my vehicle. Somebody broke into it reversed the computer thereby reversing polarity. I am very lucky. I didn’t lose all the components..but, was able to stop that in time. Came out of Walmart not too long ago and the computer Was facing the right direction this time, but I knew something was wrong because I had memorized where the pins were and where they were missing and what colors of wires were on the left and right somebody gone into my car while I was in Walmart took it out and reverse the interior so that it would face the wrong direction so I just pulled it and I’ve been carrying it with me everywhere. they reversed my parking break to where it is every time I pull it pulling out either hydraulic fluid or brake fluid into the engine bay, thereby destroying the wiring, making it Soft and gummy and they’re still moving stuff around in the car now I have found the metal for my lift kit. They’ve moved my transmission around, and I’m hoping somebody can help me put it back to what it was instead of these jackasses ruining it so that they can sell the parts from my vehicle to some unknown entity. I know who it is by the way.
I see part of my rack and pinion that has been modified and put on some lawn care equipment so that I wouldn’t know what it was. I see the Transmission floor shifter pan on my landlord‘s lawnmower in the back. I found the addition to my suspension that was removed and then there’s also a type of stabilizer bar. it is supposed to help stabilize the suspension..

They’ve been taking parts off and burying them in the ground I guess because the most recent one I found looks like it was covered in dried mud and then they clean them up. They’ve moved my tire on the front I guess when they decided to steal that stabilizer and lift equipment by about 2 1/2 to 3 inches which is I’m sure you know is causing huge havoc. The rear axle is off on the driver side I believe but just a few centimeters I can see where it’s attached at the. drum break that it’s not in the same position that it used to be, but it is causing problems. Some of my frame brackets have been moved. They also removed two long tubular things that were for support. They did something to the locks on my doors that they don’t stay locked properly so you could Jimmy and very easily. They also did something to my windshield to wear in between on the glass from the interior they scratched out LUMU into my window I just don’t know where to start to fix all of this. I love this truck and I have protected it basically with my life I sleep in it almost every night to make sure nobody can take anything else off of it when I tried to leave and move away because of this, they disabled it the starter went bad and once I pulled it apart and looked at the braided and it was fine where it came into the starter, but where it connected to the copper exciter on the inside it was nonexistent now if it was gonna burn up, I would think it would burn up from the outside first. I’ve been able to maintain retain most of these parts and would like some assistance as where to start getting it back together and let these people know if they think I’m going to give up this fight they are wrong. I’m a very tenacious young individual even in the face of danger..

I have been threatened by some very scary looking gentleman that are pissed that I just won’t let them steal the stuff off my truck. I received very discreet notice that somebody had made my truck ““ gold“ I have people that I don’t know come up and check the bed of my truck trying to get that bar back. This is ridiculous. It’s ridiculous.

Anyways, I’m gonna post some pictures of my truck and the items I found and maybe I could get some good input on where the best place to start is. I bought this truck so that I could learn to work on something I figured this would be a great one. I surely did not expect to have to learn this quick.

If anyone thinks that it’s past the point of doing anything because of what they did to the suspension by not correcting where they stole the lift the engine where they took the engine control temperature sensor and moderated my vacuum lines on a consistent basis thereby coating my truck with carbon buildup, along with the brake fluid destruction of my wires., please feel free to let me know, and then I will sell these parts myself and collect the money instead of a bunch of jerks that destroyed a perfectly good vehicle out of greed.

Anyways, thank you very much for letting me post all of that because I want the world to know what to look out for in this day and age of scumbaggery.

No, I’ve been doing a lot of cleaning trying to get the grease and shit taken care of, but as you could see the discoloration show That things have been moved around now every time I think I’ve got one thing figured out and I’m working on it. They come back and do something else. I tried moving that’s why they disabled the car. God any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
