My idea of a Shelby Ranger if there would have been one.

I'm not sure that they stopped at 500. I'll keep my eyes open when I'm out and about. There's not many Rangers/BIIs that age in the yards around here, but when I see them I'll check.

Thanks buddy. Keep me posted and I'll plan a road trip down south!!

At this point I give up. The inch BII bar seems as rare as a Ranger with a SHO engine in it...

Get on http://car-part.com/. Thats how I found my bar. I just sent out a request to anyone within a 2-3 hours from me that had a BroncoII rear sway bar. I got an email back the next morning and I drove 2 hours away that very same day to get mine. I paid $50 for it and they pulled it and everything, I just picked it up.

Just make sure they take a micrometer to measure it BEFORE you pay or head to wherever it is, as you know its a tough gem to find! Good luck on your hunt!

Will do.. It sucks that the one 89 was crushed. I have it set on pull a part to send me an email when an 89 or 90 shows up as well.. :icon_cheers:

Haha, thanks guys! And no worries multi, its not that big a deal and if they take the time to read the comment, they will know it was an obvious mistake!

True but I still wanna make it completly right...

I should have all the urathane bushings in soon. As soon as I get all the sway bushings on I'll have a Ranger with complete urathane bushings front to back.

The only rubber bushings or mounts is the transmission and motor mounts..

That will be nice! I would do that to mine, but I plan to do a custom rear suspension eventually anyways. Ill convert the front over to urathane once I install the DJM control arms.

The correct rear sway bushings finally came Saturday.. Got them installed after doing a front brake job on GF's Audi... I am learning the more I work on Audis the more I hate them... Much rather work on Ranger.. I will say this though.. I did brake job and the only tools I used was a pair of Pliars and a big screwdriver... I never removed a single bolt.. In fact I didn't remove the calipers...
