LOL, I knew exactly what "My foxy baby" meant. What are your plans for it? Nice ride!

Oh, is it an 85 or 86?

thanks :). its an 85. for awhile I was planning an 85 based boss clone note the pseudo boss stripes lol. I am at some point gonna put a full cage with swing out door bars in it. Ive stripped her down just 2 racing seats with 5 point harness' I may try and add some more power but right now 400 is good with me I want it still streetable but still decent on the strip I also plan on making it alittle tamer on the road course (as tame as a fox body can be without nuetering it :p). I may at somepoint remove the cats and retune to run without them cuz here in NH 85 and older dont need them those are the plans I have right now once I start more I will put up a build thread in the non-rbv builds

I like the mock Boss stripes. :P

To me, tame is just enough power to lift the front end up xD

Thanks :p me and my dad did em with spraypaint and tape it was a cheap paint job its gettin done right this year. I just wanna make sure i dont have monumental oversteer and go off track in a turn lol. Will keep everyone posted lol

Crashing is the best part of racing :P

It's like with motorcycles, it's not if you eat it, but when you eat it.

Nice fox! There's a ton of fox bodies in Rochester. There's a green 90 with a 347 stroker, and a kid I went to school with has a 84 with a 351C

Yeah but ive had the car since i was 12 i bought it with my inheritance when my grandfather died so dont wanna wrap it around a wall. And thanks farmer :) i think ive seen them around i work in somersworth and have alot of friends that moved to rochester :) hopefully she will be back on the road by mid to late summer i got to do some front end work and give it a respray. I guess you could say i got a thing for 80s fords lol

Then I suggest allocating the first part of the budget to suspension and steering lol. There's vehicles owned by some older family members that when they pass on we'd keep them even if they were rolled or a tree fell on them.

Those were first on the list. Yeah i have his motorcycle that some woman backed over and dragged into a tree. Im gonna hold on to both til the day i die then my kids will get them

If you were my dad I wouldn't mind if you fixed it up in that amount of time first lol.

Know what kind of tire you're gonna run?

Lol well it will be fixed by then lol. Im think when money presents itself id love to get some pirelli p zeros or michellin pilot cups to put on it but probably some toyo touring tires til i can afford the pirelli's or pilots.

It's more pricey but I'd spring for the tires that are better engineered for track and road use.

That being said, I've always wanted to drive dirt tracks so that wouldn't matter much xD

Yeah i kno what you mean. And yeah dirt trackin is fun i did it in my old fiero a few times at a friends house they had a homemade dirt track in the back yard
