Just picked up an 87 Ranger 4x4 5speed on Tuesday. I've always had cars and I'm really liking this already.
It's in pretty good shape for a 22 year old vehicle. Only things I've found so far that really need attention is the overflow tank on the radiator and the door locks. I'm going to get those fixed either today or tomorrow and I'm putting a new stereo in it. The one in it now just flashes and makes no noise.
Here is a pic the guy I bought if from sent me.
I'll be changing out the fog/running lights as well. Then a little body work and some new paint. I'm thinking silver since it should help hide the few dents in it and silver doesn't show dirt too bad.
It already has a Reese hitch so I can tow my trailer with it as well.
Other than the stereo and lights are there any other things I need to be upgrading/adding? I was thinking of maybe the step bars for the sides since it is lifted.
