Here are some photos of my 83 4wd Ranger. 2.8 l motor 5 spd. I bought it California in early 85 with about 7,000 miles on it. I also had my 83 Z28 at the same time while I was stationed in San Diego (Coronado) and Alameda NAS for sometime before coming back to Tampa to be stationed at USSOCOM Macdill AFB. I lifted it and added 32's to it and lots of lights while I was in California and then I drove it back to Tampa. The truck was a great truck and I never had any trouble with it. After I got back to Tampa I add a bit more lift and then put on 33's. I had 4:56 gears and an after market exhaust and a cam shaft with better lift and duration. The truck was pretty quick and powerful for it's engine size. I kept the truck until 90. I bought my 89 BroncoII brand new and also had the 86 Subaru and my wife said too many rides in the garage and driveway. Plus I had about 12 motorcycles at the time as well.

Here are some photos: I was not a camera nut back then so I had to borrow a camera for the photos. lol

I went to a Drive in Movie one Saturday summer night with this really cute AF girl I liked who worked in my Combat Center at Macdill AFB. We went to see some crazy funny movie...kung fu thingie. Man....after the ice tea and nachos and cheese dip it must have been about 90 degrees at 10:00 pm. We were both starting to sweat a bit. After the movie we went to Clearwater beach and went skinny dipping!!!!! That sort of cooled us off!!! lol

I took her up to Ocala, Fl for some fun wheeling a few times and she really like to go out doors. Too bad she got transferred to Korea a few months later.
