My first Ford!

Well I have owned a TON of cars... But never a ford. That is untill now! Hi all! My name is Keith and I just purchased a wonderful 1986 2wd ranger with the 2.9 and a manual tranny here in Florida for $500! Overall a decent truck but im working on a stalling issue when warm right now. Posted the details in the 2.9 tech section. Just in the past few weeks since purchase I have used your site multiple times for info. Great setup! And I look forward to posting many things about my new truck. I will get a pic posted later... And maybe figure out a name for her!

Mine used to stall when I first bought it, and I found out the previous owner didn't put the timing belt on correctly. See if your timing belt is on perfectly, is my advice. My Lilly is my first Ford that I've owned personally. lol But if you drive past my boyfriend's house where I'm usually at. My ranger sits there, with F250 Turbo diesel (my boyfriends), his stepmoms 2012 F150 Lariat, and his dad's GMC (which always needs work on it.)
