Well, decided to start looking into exhausts for my 02 edge 3.0 5spd manual. After youtubing a while I decided on a thrush welded dual outlet muffler. I want the tips to be 45ed out back of the bumper and probably going with 3.5 dia 12in long tips.
My concern is pipe size. The muffler is 3in inlet which I know is way to large but I am confused on which way to go with the pipe for sound. 2.25 in to 2.5 out back or 2.5in and 2.25 out back? Which way would be better for sound. I know the 3.0 will always sound raspy but I want good tone at lower rpm. I tend not to redline my baby.
