My dome light worked fine until I went and replaced my passenger fender as I was hammering the mounts back into place the dome light was flashing in sync with the blows. After that the dome light was working intermittently and sometimes it comes on dim not at full brightness. So I know I'm not giving you much but what do you think is going on?

I would begin investigating at the passenger side door switch since that is where you say you were working. Check switch function and make sure wire is connected. Make sure wire didn't get cut somewhere. The problem is, if that is the only problem, it seems it should still work from the driver side door or the switch at the light itself. Is the dome light the only thing that doesn't work? could also be a fuse problem.

Well I made a discovery whenever I hit those two switch looking things the dome light flashes on so what are those and are those replaceable?

what are those and are those replaceable?

Good question. I've never seen those in a car. I'll be watching for someone's answer.

If I were to make a GUESS, though, I would say that those levers are used to disconnect those black wiring connectors. As you slowly pull the white handles back, I would expect the black connectors to move away from the fuse block, thereby disconnecting all the circuits in each connector. If that's true, then it would make sense why your dome lights would flicker when you wiggle them.

Well those are disconnects but after some digging I think it might be the relay so does anyone know where this relay is located

According to THIS , it's in relay module #3 in the engine compartment.

Until I googled it, I didn't know there was a relay for that. I guess it's because of the battery saver circuit.
