My daughter the offroader....


I like this idea. However I know its easy for a 16yr old to give up on a project. I gave up on my 64 nova like a bum, dad did most of the work. Wish I could have that one back...

then you sir, have another ranger. make a deal with her about the work load.. or money invested. or something.. teach her a lesson about having to work for what you want in life to.. lol. hmm... idk, i'm only 20 and don't have kids lol

Well get one thats atleast running, then she can do simple trails and get stuck then get the itch to make sure she doesn't get stuck again.

If she really wants an off road truck then she will have the motivation and the parents to keep going on the project.
 
The Honda is a good option. Those transmissions are constant mesh and usually fairly tough. Reading about how your daughter wants 2 vehicles reminds me of my son. He's only 7 and already says he wants 2 Rangers. 1 with a V8 and the other should have a V6.
