My Dana 30 SAS

It really does look great, wish i had the time to do the same to my 99

Sub'd. Looks like its coming a long nicely.

Sent from my iPhone.

Yea she is getting there, projects like these are never truly done, always something else you can do to just make it a little bit better.

Its only took me two weeks to do my SAS, and my 8.8 swap. I had everything though...everything. Just had to order coils and trac-bar once the front axle was in there. If you have t-bars it will be a lot less fabrication but if you have coils...its a lot of precise cutting and welding so take your time.

Want to re-do my trac-bar and get an alignment done it will be ship shape. But goes great off road, haven't berried it yet....yet!:icon_thumby:

Went to my local towing shop and they have an articulation ramp behind the shop. Decided to make the climb! Flexes amazing, passenger tire was just to say still on the ground, enjoy!

1. Congrads on the win! Pickup of the month baby!:yahoo:
2. yeah buddy! dana 30 power! i like to see the guys rockin them, i just threw 4.56’s in my 8.8 and 30 about 2 months ago and love it! i am still running my bald ass 33’s so my speedo tells me 67 mph at 3k rpm lol:sad:

how do you like the 315/75/16 tires? im thinking about picking up a set since buying them an new rims comes in at $200 less then buying a good 35x12.50x15 tire.
And what exhaust are you running on your pickup? it sounds nice and throughty:icon_thumby:

X2 on the win nice looking well built truck

Whoot! OTOTM! It's an honor really, I wanted to get it someday, but never thought I actually would. I'm glad all those who have been following have enjoyed the build as I did.

Go some pics of where my buddies and I go out on the weekends. And of course, going to whore out my truck:D

This is just one spot we like to tear up. Has a little bit of everything, mud, rock, and dirt. It's harder when it rains which makes it more fun!

Here is one of the other ranger crew members. He is a bit of a pavement pounder....but he came to see what I was up too.

He has a 1997 Ranger, 3.0L Dana 30 SAS(leafs) Explorer 8.8, 4.10's and 33's.

Does your friend have a build thread for his dana 30 swap with leafs?

Sorry no build thread on the Red Ranger. Actually you should be giving props to Destroyer000 who pretty much did all the work on it. He cut out, welded and assembled that build. Its different but so stiff and he doesn't go off road with it...(pussy) lol.:thefinger:

Not much to doing a sas with leafs though, build your mounts, chop what you got under there and roll under the new one....

That's exactly what I did I just wanted to check out the steering

I have the same set up as him, except I have a toyota box on the outside of the frame, while he is running a stock ranger box on the inside.

Its a GM 1-ton steering kit. its HD!
