My daily driver "Prerunner"

changed the shocks to black hardware, am going to add a kartek hanger and changing the rear shock setup to a bed cage with no bed space taken.

With the warm weather, I cleaned up the mess winter had made.

enough has changed in the last few weeks i think its time for a small update.

pulled the truck into a friends shop to start clean up and prep. clearanced the front end as the limit straps had stretched and the control arms were making contact with the frame. after doing so, I gained roughly 3/4" down travel which is nice.

McNeil has been delaying the order and wont ship the bedsides till tomorrow. i should see them in 10-12 days hopefully. lets also hope they show up undamaged!

Besides that, the rest is basically here. minor things are needed still. rear hangers, shocks, swap kit and straps are still needed.

As long as the order arrives today, this weekend is going to be epic! ive picked up the hangers, swap kit and straps. and a few before shots.

my spare tire ready to go

expo axle waiting for the swap

body line to tire shot

flare shot

ride height shot

and a much better pic of the gauge spot i made.

broke my fuelpump swapping beds, so i ordered a new fuel pump today, went with 2.0x14 remote resi resi rear shocks, and ordered new flex line for the expo axle.

BCST palate is for tomorrow delivery, then its crunch time. less then a month to get it done.

this thing is sweet, nice and clean!

thanks!

new bed is on, new fuel pump is in, truck runs and drives! well i think, havent taken it out yet just fired it up.

this week/weekend i should have half the work done i hope.

no interest in a large bedcage. im keeping my tonneau cover.

other then a possible valving issue on the shocks, everything is here and looks great!

this number should be 60/40, so im curious if they had a stock set revalved. it seems to compress and extend pretty similar.

build starts tomorrow morning.

busy night but the deavers are on!

64's vs f31's

Before height:

Need to now make a bumper for the truck, plate is zip tied to the back.

what a royal PITA these were...

drooped out

ill give fitment a 6.5/10

----------

atleast the bodylines match up good

Looks good! Motivates me to install my bedsides haha it's rare for fiberglass to fit perfect without some work haha

today was an productive day.

not bad welding for being off a mig for oh, 7 years?

and i ran a quick tube across the back as a for now bumper.
