had to swap out the ranger front drive shaft for a jeep one after i got the axle centered where it should have been. i used one out of a cherokee, hollander # is a 430-2719, chrysler # is a 53005542... hope this helps

I just brough my ranger shaft in said that it needed to be lengthened 2 inches and $140 or so bucks later got what I needed.

Also forgot to say, like the bracket you found, looked it up and may have to get it one day so that I can get rid of the inverted Y steering that I have now. Only thing with that is my drag link and trackbar angles wont match anymore but thats small stuff that I can fix.
the jeep shaft i used is 1-1/2" longer

$140??!? Holy crap. I've gotta go kiss Steve now. He only changed me $30 to have one lengthened and $20 to have one shortened!

They made me a whole new shaft though plus was balanced and new ujoints. All that was reused was the ends of the old shaft. For the price, not going to say a word, it will last forever.

I dont like that shackle angle on that last pic..or is it flexing? 45 degrees should be perfect....
not flexing... 45 degrees? not possible. i checked two of my buddies factory leaf spring trucks(ford and chevy) plus two f250sd at my work, my truck's shackle angle matches all of those just fine.

shortened my buddies drive shaft... $0.00...holding up up just fine in his 500hp big block chevelle...
ok..ok...jeez.... welding up the rear lift blocks tomorrow(didnt get to them today) then i will climb the loading dock at the shop and take some pics
