My build thread

Couldn't hurt to have it hooked up. My 84 B2 has front and rear sway bars on it, it does certainly help in handling.

Looks good! How much lift did you put on? 4" or 6"?

thanks! the drop brackets are set at 5.5 and i have bds 6 inch coils. need some bigger tires next...still wanting those 35's but 33's are the way i SHOULD go....lol

custom long arms are easy if you know how to cut/weld.

there's a brake line extension in the tech library about using 2 pieces that are easily found at parts houses near you.
would this help with my coils having a curve to them??

here are a few pics with the wheels and tires....might have messed up on the wheel size....they are 10 inch rims and stick out more than i thought they would...any thoughts??

Looks fine to me. What's the backspacing?

lol...dont know...it was an impulse buy. got 5 so i have a matching spare..tires are down there... ill go measure in a while..

got a little more done on the bronco....put on a pro comp drop pitman arm and spent the rest of the day trying to get the caster/camber bushings out! what a pita! ordered a tool to get them out and picked it up today...just a special width pickle fork. hopefully today i can get the adjustable bushings in and get the front setup. also got a set of 33x12.50 tires off of cl and have a friend mounting them. got 3 back and i really am going to need flares!

also wanted to add that the drop pitman arm was fd500, not the 400 that i thought it would be...

today did not go well...the special fork did not remove the camber bushings and i resorted to cutting one of the lips off of the bushing and now im drilling it out! slow going as i dont want to damage anything...what a day!

got one of the bushings out and the adjustable put in and adjusted..
