Just waitin on my order from RUffStuff to get here and get the front suspension going, USPS shows it cleared customs yesteday!
Aside from that, I've got my link material and my EVO heims for the frame end of the links. Still trying to wrap my head around track bar packaging with the new steering box location which is a little hard to do because I haven't decided on a forward or rearward swinging box yet....
Naw, thats on an F550 that EVO was workin on, I just used the pic to show the hydro assist. The local ski hill uses F550's and Excursions with Matt Tracks and they kept wearing out steering box's, so they came to him and he built the 'balanced' hydro assist setup for them. I plan on using it as well, less length on tierods to bend, and you get equal speed steering in both directions unlike normal hydroassist setup.s
You have an open tube on one side of the pistonr and a rod/shaft on the other. The difference in surface area of the piston causes different speeds right to left.

I'd love to have piles of parts like this in the shop all the time.... but I'll be even happier when they're all on the truck! Note... not all the parts here are goin on the truck, and some that are goin on are still missing.
Here's the engine side of the mounts, unwelded. The frame side will just be two tabs, the 6.0L mounts line up just rear of center on the rangers K member.
GM gas engine, whatcha find in any 00'+ 2500/3500... Mine came from an 04' 2500 Suburban. This thing fits surprisingly well... Except for the steering box.
Oh ok, I was gonna say, why don't you find a BIGGER motor and try and make it fit (back when I thought you were swappin' a powerstroke in). They barely fit on the F-250/350 chassis (cab removal anybody lol).
