My Build, All Parts And Prices ***2016 Updated*** still not done...

after you put the body lift on, you think you would be able to clear the factor heater box/A/C unit?

You decide on who is doing your headers?

How are you going to run sliders and over the rail headers at the same time?

What did you do for the transmission mount and transfer case mount?

- Not a chance, it hangs to close to the engine, sorry

You decide on who is doing your headers?
- I'm building them, got the flanges cut now I just need a few tighter dia. bends and I can get to work

How are you going to run sliders and over the rail headers at the same time?
- Sliders tubes will run to the bottom of the frame, and be gusseted fairly close, the exhaust will fit over top of them, just past the gusset on the body about halfway between the rockers/frame

What did you do for the transmission mount and transfer case mount?
- I'm using 6x6x1/4" formed plate (like angle Iron) that will bolt to the outside of the frame, and mounting the crossmembers to the area that will hang past the stock frame flange, on the top side so I don't loose the flat belly.

Interested in seeing these when you get going.

DEFINITELY want to see this. I really like the flat belly, so any help you can offer in that aspect would be GRAND.

You know me, begging for pictures of everything. (preferrably some pics that show a little more detail than the cell phone cameras)

Engine mounts.... One day I'll get a better camera...

my stepdad has a '11 2500 chev with the 6.0, that engine is awesome, loads of oomph. are you going to run the 6spd auto that comes behind them too? what about tcase, passenger side drop from the chev? or you clocking it to still run ford axles?

this is going to be awesome when its done!

Think I posted it way back but... NV4500 5 speed - NP241 drivers drop - spidertrax housing built to use chev D60 shafts but in a driverside drop.

damn...that 241 into a 205 tt would really be a setup of suicidal envy.:D

bastards,.....all of ya!:thefinger:

That's the intention eventually... Just wanna get it goin on the single case and a scrap fabbed rear driveshaft. I don't wanna waste money on flanges for 1350CVs for both cases...$$$$!

ugh.... Haven't touched the truck in 3 weeks, life/work keeps getting in the way!

Borrowed a tire from my old mans rig to roll under it though! I'll post better pictures tonight.

New Venture transmissions are awesome. i loved my nv 4500 get a south bend dual disk clutch for it.

is the truck roughly where its gonna be hight wise? cause with that tire there it seems the axle is going to have to come up a bit to be centered
