My Bronco 2

You know what you've put alot of blood sweat and tears into this build I'm gonna give this build 5 stars.

I havent seen blood yet and the tears will come when it is truly done. Sweat I will say yes, down there it is hot all the time :D

Thanks guys.

There has been blood sweat and tears for sure. I've even considered putting a match to it once or twice im sure. Lol. But in the ends it's mine. It's turning into what I want it to be. I thunk my purpose of this rig is near obtained. Daily driver that does what I want it to off road. We'll see soon. Does that mean I'm almost finished????? Haha. Y'all know the answer to that. You're never almost finished with a rig.

And yes Bryan... It stays hot here. Did my motor swap in July with heat indexes reaching 120!!!!! What was I thinking.....?

You were thingking BII + 4.0 = Awsome.

You have done exactly what I have/wanted to do. Make a rig that is DD while still does what you want off road.

its never really disappointed me offroad as is, but i didn't expect much for the stock axles and 30's. my expectations will be higher soon w/ 33's and 4.56's and ex axles built up pretty nicely.

4.10s shipped out. rockauto order on its way in.

still need:
axle moved to here (its 100 miles away)
radius arm bushings (gonna go this route and see if it works enough or not)
shocks (gonna figure this out soon, i need the axle under there to know what shocks i need, gonna do some measuring and then use the monroe applications list in Dustin's build to figure out which ones i need for sure...)

and then to actually do all the work! lol... once the axle is here and both are built, i'm tearing my b2 down...i'll just drive the ex till it's finished. shouldn't take to long, if i can keep spare time open to work on it.

Right here:

And I just found out Massive (who is big in the Focus community) is making trac bars and such, and will make them custom lengths if you need anything made. Karl the owner is one hell of a guy so I gotta whore lol.

sub box being built this weekend. come to find out i have a friend that makes sub boxes for the rear seats of jeeps, so i gave him my project...

here's his drawing of it

gonna be something like
IMG_1746.jpg

but only the airspace for one 10" sub. that way it'll free up the back of my truck and have amps mounted where everything will be protected.

probably gonna bedline the box!

IN OTHER NEWS:

the 8.8 is being built as much as possible w/ my little free time. worked on it some monday night and got nothing really accomplished. everything went wrong...so tuesday i started back at 0 lol.. almost got the torch to it just to make me feel better, but then i couldn't have my 8.8 built soon lol. getting the wheels/tires off saturday to get the 33's mounted on my rims. i hope they clear... lol. if they rub oh well........ they'll just rub till i can get my front swap done to..

If you install subs before the D35, I'm gonna slap you.

well the subs are installed already, member? just be switching the box w/ 2 subs to a low pro box w/ 1 sub... lol. and the d35 is still 100 miles away... just saying....

b/t school and 2 jobs finding time to travel 200 miles in a day is hard to do.

and yes it's the same jeep from the pics in the thread weak D30 in the "showoff" form

hahahahaha

the way this box is made, i'll have cargo space which is gonna be great... all my tools in the cargo area, and then my chairs (i keep camping chairs in my truck)... my backseat can be empty. not that anyone ever sits back there... lol

i'm still up in the air wether i'm gonna build a spare tire carrier or try and house it in the cargo area. i really dont like the idea of throwing a muddy flat tire back thera and not being able to flip the seats down to do some trail camping but i do like the idea of not having a 37 hanging off the back
