yeah i talked to the boss the other day. and w/ as empty as the shop has been recently- i think he'll let me do it up there. i do most of my work in my driveway b/c there aint always an empty bay at the shop... but i'm thinking i'll do my sas up there. its like 14 miles from my house. not to bad.

That's about what I get. Just filled mine today, got 17.8mpg. Half highway and half city.

Yep, that sounds right, Mine does around 17.5 to 18 in country driving, and I stay off the skinny pedal, I did find out that if i put the in regular D and not overdrive when I start out it does better in the mileage, and when I'm in town, not use over D, it does a lot better.

now that 16.7 was DRIVING... i played w/ the exhaust a lot, i'd probably get a lot better mileage if i didn't have loud exhaust. i love showing those z71 guys up... its not as quick or loud-- but is more than they expect out of a b2.

sometimes w/ higher gears OD just strains the motor. our chevy is like that.. od makes 45mph about 1300 rpms.. its crazy lol. so we run straight d around town. i'm gonna try that in mine and see what happens. who knows... yall may say 16.7 is normal, but i was getting 19.5 in town and 21-22 on the road. i was liking that consistent 19 in town. so 14 really hurt my feelings!!

overall the truck seems to run better w/ this MAF, think i have a O2 sensor around here somewhere, might swap that out and see what happens. CEL came back on today so i'm gonna pull the code tomorrow and see what that's about.

WOW I have no idea what i'm getting for milage. but i know its not that good., i dont even know how much gas is in my truck unless i have just filled it up (no gauge haha).

however dont feel too bad we were getting high 20's outta my wife's 06' toreass now were down at a steady 20

well truck is running like crap at times... idk, CEL comes on and starts surging then dies. i'm gonna put it back on the OBD1 reader tomorrow. see what code pops up this time. ugh i'm tired of this.

Damn thats a good price for gears. Only thing I would worry about is how small the pinion gear is at that low of ratio. Lowest I wouls want to go with a D30 is 456 just because of that.
