i have a 90 ranger with a sliding back glass and when both sides are pushed all the way in thhere is like a 1" gap it wouldent be a problem, but IT KEEPS SNOWING IN MY TRUCK!, i thought about using tar or somthing to close it perminatly but it helps in the summer cause i have no a/c, so like whats up with it?

no i figured out what it is, my dad took the alluminum peices off my back glass to put on his back glass (the truck was his at the time), i thought it looked weird

Duct tape...or put a piece of clear plastic in the middle...so that they close on that...either that or go to a jy and find the missing pieces...

I know what you mean by the snowing in the truck though...nothing like those flurries whipping around your face...lol

try using the clear plastic packaging tape. it's 2" wide and holds up in cold weather really good. i've used it to cover cracks in my sealed beam headlights, seal up the same rear slider you're talking about, etc. holds really well, clear so you can see thru it, cheap.

Actually, now that you mention it...this stuff is better...I used it on my Zuki headlamps and it was still on when they towed it away for scrap...GREAT stuff...and see-through so lights and windows are usable...:icon_thumby:
