Background: I have a 99 ranger with a 3.0 5 speed manual 4x4. it has a 3 inch body lift and about 2 and 1/2 inch suspension lift. 33x12.50r15it has/had 3.73 gears. in the process of swaping in 4.10's from an auto ranger. (33's took all my towing power.) I'm having problems with the brakes going haywire. i only have the back in. and i'm hoping whenever i put the front on and the different sensor it will fix it but..

MY question is about a v8. I have read things on here about people putting explorer v8s in them. But no one has used a standard trans. i want to keep it manual. So i would use a f-150 trans but how would the mess with the computer since the explorer comp wont a an auto to control. and any problems with emissions after the swap? any help is appricaited

Explorer v8/5.0 was not available with a manual transmission, in either 2wd or awd.
