My 91 Ranger the stRanger

No, but I do have to stand on the tire to open the hood...

Not that your ever going to get enough drive time in it to need an oil change:thefinger:

Its coming. When I get my new axles and frame done, I plan to take it out every weekend, at least twice a month...

Not yet. Wait till the new axles and suspension, it'll make 2.5 ton rocks look like dana 30's...

Anyway, lol

Here is the tranny cross member I made today. Not quite happy with it, but its really strong and gets the job done. Doublers make it difficult to locate so the drive shaft or yoke doesn't hit it. I dont like how the lowest point is below the frame. Still above the radius arm mounts, but kinda bothers me.

The lighting in your garage sucks!

You has money in your PayPal :thefinger:

Not much to update, been busy with work and doing little stuff on the truck here and there. Ordered gauges and built my panel for them in the truck just waiting for them to show up. Relocated the battery in the cab behind the passenger seat into where the old jump seat was. Also massaged my firewall on the driver side near the gas pedal area where the head is going to live, cut up my heater box and bent up a sheet metal cover for it, then painted the firewall black. Should be doing the final install of the engine tomorrow so I can start building headers.

Looks nice! Do you have any pictures of how you set your battery up?

I'll take some tomorrow. I have a ruffstuff optima battery holder so it was super easy, I just trimmed a little of the lip on the floor and bolted the holder down. I m going to run a disconnect switch between the cab and firewall within reach in case I ever need to kill it.

Man.i hope you got enough of that heater box trimmed.i thot I cleard my valve cover good but wjen.i installed to pcv valve it rubs and theres nothing I can do now.
