My 91 Ranger the stRanger

Full width.. I wouldn't use an LP axle. Just keep it as is for a while until that point, it should get around really well like it is.

Got anymore GoPro shots? I made a cool timelapse from the shots you got when you were here but the file is fawking huge.

I am sure I have a couple more, it was taking 720p wide video the whole day. Only problem was the trails were wet and muddy and my tires kept flinging mud all over the lens. My magnet mount did work very good, extremely strong and no vibrations.

Yeah my plan is to get an axle for a side project and build it up and collect parts for a while until it is ready to go in. I have a lead on a full width d44, its already pulled and mostly disassembled and has the weld on wedges, just waiting to hear back from the guy on the price he wants. The truck does get around very good. I am amazed how well it climbs. The only limitation I really have right now is the front just does not flex much and I am nervous about blowing up the D35. I have not had any problems with it yet but knock on wood lol.

I have been searching everywhere for a manual transfer case to build a doubler but I can't find one in either of the pick and pulls and anywhere on craigslist :annoyed:... sometimes having an RBV is frustrating lol

I know of four 1354 manual T cases complete with linkage at the yards around here if you're interested......

Manual 1350s should be everywhere :dunno:

I swear 90% of the exploders and rangers down here are 2wd...:annoyed:

Crawlin I am going to take another look in the yards here in the next week or so and if I don't find one I may be hitting you up!

I made a bit of headway on my tire gate project.

I would have got more done but when I went inside to get a drink I heard water running only to find the bathroom flooding with sewage water. Not a good way to end the day...

new project for the back burner

Plans are 4.56 gears and I am thinking either a Detroit or a Grizzly locker. It needs a full rebuild but for being already pulled and disassembled and $175, I jumped on it. It has all the parts just needs to get cleaned up and put back together.

Got a bit more done today, hopefully finish it up tomorrow

looks good man! how is the view out the back though?

After driving it around for a while its meh. If someone was tail gating me really close I wouldn't see them very easy. Backing up is easy because there is plenty of room on the sides, the rear view mirror is mostly blocked though. I could have pushed it to the side and put a jerry can or something on the other side but it was really only about a 8'' amount of room to move it and I wouldn't have gained much so I just centered it for a symmetrical look.

It was pouring at the offroad park so I didn't get many pics.

project for the back back burner: doubler. Grabbed up this 1350m for 100 bucks. I still need the shifter and linkage and the doubler kit from DD machine
