My 91 Ranger the stRanger

Awesome. Thought you were in love with the bench..?

The bench was actually really comfy, but I am enjoying the new space just as much, I just need a console now.

just a quck shot of the new tires and wheels. still need to trim fenders and get seat covers. Busy with work again and probably won't get to wheel until after new years

wow! i spent an hour goin thru this build thread, but i guess it's worth it. i sold my ranger due to the engine havin 247xxx miles on it and from readin about your truck i think im goin to get a gen 2 instead of a another gen 3 like my avatar.

Yeah those tires look a hell of a lot better imo.

Thanks guys. Been super busy this last month with vacation, friends wedding and another trip to Afghanistan. Trying to work on it as I can, still have not even got the tires dirty :'( I got 2 bucket seats now and looking for a console. Buying a welder soon to work on sliders and a spare tire mount. Carpet is getting ripped out soon, flares possible next weekend.

Excellent build! Thank you for your service to the country Sir, we all appreciate you and your awesome ranger!

Troy.

Buckets eh? I remember you saying that you loved your bench seat to much.

The buckets were very comfortable, unfortunately the center arm rest broke. I spent the weekend moving into a new place. I now have a 2 car garage for storage and working which is a very nice upgrade. I am picking up a welder this week off craigslist for a good deal (only a hobart 140 with bottle) It should be good for tackling the small projects I have in mind (sliders and tire gate). This weekend I am planning to get to the off road park so hopefully everything pans out!

Not much but I have pictures this time!

The new addition:

hobart 140 w/ bottle and cart and about 10lbs of fluxcore wire:icon_welder::icon_welder:
not bad for a $200 off craigslist

This Saturday I am heading down to superlift orv park again so it should be a good time and get some wheeling action.

Waiting on a shipment from ruffstuff to start my tire gate project. Hopefully it all shows up tomorrow. Also I am planning to take the ranger on a road trip to Moab and Zion NP this september/october time frame!

Well I got only half of my ruffstuff shipment, they forgot to put the other half in I guess. Called them up and they said they would take care it. Going to have to wait until next weekend now to get going on the tire gate.

Been looking at some LP dana 44 from early broncos. I am worried I would regret getting a low pinion axle, but I don't want to go through the hassle of narrowing an axle, it looks a bit out of my range in skill and tool availability wise.
Any thoughts on the low pinion front axle running 35'' tire range? I will upgrade the shafts for the bigger u joints and will run a locker in it.
