my 88 after a wax

Got a job at a local car wash not too long ago, and we get to do whatever we want to our cars/trucks every sunday (wash, wax, engine steam, oil change, shampoo, vacuum, etc etc). Today I washed it, dried everything off, cleaned windows, cleaned door jams, cleaned the rims, used our silicon treatment on the tires and on all of the interior plastic pieces (dash, door panels, trim etc)

here's some pics. lighting is a bit off because the sun was almost down (at 5:30 OMG HOW CRAZY)... can get some better ones at full light tomorrow or soon

thanks, and yeah i was kinda impressed by the reflections off of it as well.

now just imagine if the clear coat wasn't 21 years old lol.

thanks for all the compliments guys...

she's got some rust here and there that i'd like to fix some day... but nothing serious enough to worry RIGHT now i guess...


a lot of my friends (i'm in high school) just say it's an old truck whatever... but i really like it.. it was bought brand new by my grandpa, and let's face it.. some day he won't be around. i'd love to be able to keep that to remember him by, and some day pass it on to my kids or grandchildren.

which is why i want to slowly start replacing everything, so that it's fresh and new like the way my grandpa bought it!
