There was is a thread on which is the best battery to get. Could not have happened a better time. Several suggestions but I took ny best guess hope this is the battery I go with from now on. Time will tell.
IMG_4289.jpeg

I seen somewhere on a thread to upgrade to a larger bottom tray. I wish I would have made a note on it. I got this hold diem from Orielly. I had to re work cables but got battery done for now.

I found a nearly perfect bezel. I have been wanting to brighten my gauge needles.
IMG_4292.jpeg

Not perfect but far better than it was. I tried to get fuel gauge all the way up with key turned on. By the time I got key off and unplugged the needle was below E. I just propped fuel gauge and temp gauge with a paper clip. Not perfect but better than it was. I can blame it being a 30 year old truck. Lol

New to me bezel and needles orange. I will get it installed and a picture in a bit. Letting bezel dry from cleaning and paint before moving it.

Probably about as close to what dash looked like in 1988 as I'm going to get.

I eventually want to go with this style mirror as I pull a lot of trailers. I don’t know how good the aftermarket productions are so will eventually find a set in the boneyard.
IMG_4301.jpeg

An unseeable upgrade but this has lower support for the larger mirror.
IMG_4302.jpeg

Looking from bottom of the door it goes into hole furthest back.
IMG_4304.jpeg

I used the button screw that holds the larger mirror in from boneyard to get correct screw. Bracket is installed waiting on me to find new to me mirrors.

After more usage, I haven't had any problems with the one I picked up at Oreilly's. If I were looking to do the upgrade, I'd get them. They have a kit with the external bracket too. Then it's all new...

I saved the link you posted Thanks. I will look into the Orielly ones

Air conditioning WAS nice having. I was sitting in a parking lot and Boom!!! I popped the hood and my line had separated.
IMG_4321.jpeg

I looked on the Bronco and it is connected the same way. Talking to a friend and he said his 80s Ford had a clip. This come off of a parts truck he had sitting.
IMG_4322.jpeg

I installed it and see if this helps keep it together.
IMG_4323.jpeg

Fuel system uses a similar safety clip on quick disconnects. I did recharge system and it is cool again. I just guessed at the amount of refrigerant. I will have shop to refill ac system and see what he suggests. It could be after market condenser that caused problems.

IMG_4315.jpeg

Coincidence??? After AC line blew, I had a 100 mile trip home. I had blower on just to keep fresh air moving. Today blower would not kick on. Troubleshooting revealed bad blower. I could not get blower to come on by jumping straight to battery. Blower is off of Bronco for now but will get new on in order
IMG_4314.jpeg

Blower and AC shares same fuse. AC would kick on after I recharged it. 30 amp fuse was good. Just strange both blower and ac line quit at nearly the same time.

This is the one I was talking about:

Fit System Door Mirror - H3661

I noticed it only lists full size trucks as compatible. I was under the impression they were all the same.

That's one heck of a coincidence. Sounds like my luck.

The power of 3 is after you...
Not sure how you avoid it...
;)

Thanks @SenorNoob I checked Oreilly and did not know they had them in stock. I will be getting them on order after fuel pump upgrade. I am glad to see I am not the only one who has similar issues. At least everyone gets a good dose of bad luck every once in a while.

@alwaysFlOoReD That is funnier than you think. I would be happy with the Power of 3. I am up to 5 or 6. My fuel system is giving me problems. I am having to prime pump by cycling key switch a couple of times. Bronco 2 valve cover is giving me fits. I am going to install original cover on it soon and today I had a flat on the company truck and it is only 2 years old. Gremlins have my name and number lately.

When i did my ventilation system, I replaced heater core, cleaned out air box, and blew the dust out of blower motor. When I troubleshoot, I try to see what caused the problem and something I could have done to avoided it. Looks to me this blower was just worn out and a carbon build up on rotor. Not much I really could if done the first go around. The new heater core I originally put in the first time sprung a leak and I had to replace it again. Just poor part quality on that one. I have had this truck in a 500 mile and 1000 mile trip. Guess I’m lucky problems happened at home instead of in the road. Getting the gremlins out.

I got a bumper off of a 90s Ranger. Has a dent. Hoping it fits, it should.
IMG_4332.jpeg

Git pad off for painting.
IMG_4333.jpeg

Got it painted. Will finish chrome part of bumper tomorrow and see if it fits okay. I’m about ready to just go with an aftermarket bumper. Everyone I have looked at has damage.

That stator doesn't look too bad, if you wanted you could chuck the bushing end in a drill press and turn it slowly and take a fine file or emery cloth to clean up the contacts and put it back together.

@scotts90ranger Thanks I have cleaned them up and I would of this one. I have changed brushes in motors in the past as aftermarket quality has gone down hill. The fan was so corroded the shaft is why I did not save this one. I really like factory as the replace motors are set up a little different.

Yea for not taking measurement’s. I got this one fairly recently. The bed was missing. It is off of a 90s Ranger. I’m thinking narrow bed. I just assumed it was a wide bed. I got the bumper polished up decently and liked the black padding on it. Old bumper is back on now. It did bolt up but I really need to see if next generation bumpers are interchangeable. I was just assuming.
