New Pressure Switch came with O ring. I will put a zip tie or a drop of Super glue to hold broken connector. It is solid and don’t think it will come off.

Looking good. My connectors on both the high and low pressure switches were broken but they pressed in tight enough it seemed when it all went back together.

@jballard81 I eventually am going to try and create a parts list of where I get the good parts from. It would be nice if we had a thread that says which place and parts are the best to get. I try to note them as I find then on my thread for a reference for me at a later time.

Mine seems to have a pretty tight fit as well. 30 year old plastic does not have much forgiveness. I am going to need ac this year. I suffered thru it last year without it. Not doing that again.lol

I am prepping the bed to do bed liner. I priced having it professionally done and that is not in the budget. Been watching diy in bed liner and preparation is the key for great results. This going to take some patience. Burning up the sandpaper doing this.

My son helped me get the new gas I ring in. It was a little thicker and took both of us to get it compressed enough to seal. Filled the tank and no more leaks. Wahoo!!!

Another project I plan on working on this week is getting Cruise Control installed. I have seen a thread on here so will start studying on it. I will use the red horn for testing until I find a blue horn and controls. Luckily the Bronco 2 has cruise I can use for a reference.

I am starting my Cruise Control project. Searching for information and parts as I go. I don’t use my fender to inner bolts. Just rust and it’s not going anywhere. I disconnect the battery and remove these 4 bolts holding inner fender.

Factory uses big rivets. I have a rivet gun but not that big. I just bolted mine in. Holes are already there from factory.

Installed canister. The hose on the side goes to the Intake port.

The other long hose goes to the firewall. I think it is to disengage the brakes. This hole is not punched out from factory and I need to get the connector from boneyard. Will post it when I get to it and parts.

Comparing to my 88 Bronco 2, this is where the wiring harness will come thru from the canister to inside the truck.

I thought these two plugs were to the Cruise Control. They are not. I will post the box and wire and cable next week

I went to the boneyard today. Got some better visors than what I have. My glove box has a big dent and scratches in it. Giving parts a good cleaning before going into the truck. Steering wheel came off a 90 truck and not sure if it is same as mine. Black will paint better than the red one I have.

I don’t see anything for installing cruise control on Rangers and Broncos. I found a truck with the brain box and cable. A step closer. I will get this installed next week.

I hate cutting wires but the truck I got this out if was butchered by a previous customer. I needy the fuse box to see how this green clip and position is at. Looks factory installed.

I did get a manual driver's door panel for the Bronco. Mine are electric but I will go either way depending on which full set of panels I find first. Full Cruise Control harness. A previous customer did cut one plug that I will need to find out where it goes.

I thought I had found the Holy Grail of Grilles. Some idiot found it before I could get to it.

They just pulled the grille off and broke all mounting brackets. I will try 2-part epoxy it fiberglass.

Idiot broke a corner off. I will still see what I can do with it. Would if been a nice score if they had not damaged it.

Not all bad. I don’t think the emblem looked this good when new. I needed one and these are $40 on LMC trucks.

Another part destroyed by previous customer. I bought it anyways. Might need it for my Bronco as I have this option as well. I will buy the hard to find parts when I can. I also got another trim with switch in it. Showing with blue parts.

But switches and 3 prong plug is pretty standard across the board. Showing another hard to find piece.

The truck I got the cruise control harness from had an electrical connector on the Brake Master Cylinder. Looking on Rockauto, they are not showing that particular Master Cylinder. I will need to look into this further. This did come off of an 83-88 truck.

Another issue is the green plug on the back of the fuse box.

Also, there is a vacuum line that comes thru the firewall. The truck I got the harness a previous customer had pulled the brake and clutch assembly from so I don't know what it attaches to.

I am going to look at the Bronco to see exactly where the brain box, (as I call it, as I don't know its correct name.)

If anybody as any links to adding factory cruise to a non-factory truck, please post. I have found links for the 2nd gen trucks and full size trucks, but not these.

I searched all over the internet to find out what a “Dump Valve “ is. You hit the brake pedal and it let air into the system. Basically I think this kicks Cruise Control off on the brake side. I was in the bone yard today and looks like any truck 92 and older will have the bracket that holds it. I could not find this part on the internet parts site.

Mine is black on the Bronco. The bracket that holds valve is round. I will need to come up with the white piece that the valve touches to.

I have a Brake Master Cylinders with the Cruise Control option on it on order from Orielly . It is the electrical plug on the reservoir.

A future project is to go to a one pump fuel system. Addicted CreationsZ sells these pipes to eliminate the plastic reservoir with 2 pipes and 1 pipe to eliminate the fuel pump. I will go with a later model fuel pump. He can only be found on Facebook at this time.

Looks to me like this is the main power supply to the cruise control. 3rd row from bottom and 3rd row over.

It is fool proof and has tabs.
