I''ve had Fords Sync 3 system with the large panel, in 3 different trucks. Once you get it figured out , its absolutely great.
My 2019 came with running boards, pretty much worthless for me. Truck is fine and serving me well.

do not have Sync 3 but even if it was in there I am a zombie when it comes to the tech stuff. the people designing things should keep
the old KISS principle in mind...........Keep It Simple Stupid.......for those that dont know what KISS is.....

another thing I think should be in the bed is the cut outs/indents for putting a board across the bed for plywood or sheet material.
I still have the 2 x 6`s that I cut to length for my 04 Ranger.

I've only seen those in drop in bed liners. Neither my 1998 or 2011 Rangers had slots for boards built into the bed.
