duct tape a bottle rocket to your bumper, it might not help your top speed but when u get pulled for 90mph you can tell the cop that when you were drinking at your buddies house, you got into an argument with them over whether or not it would work and the winner had to drink the beer that you will be holding in your hand as you talk to the cop.

I find 100MPH a little hard to bleave.

well, my tires are really bald, which will give it less traction, so it will spin faster,

Ranger will not go over 90MPH

And the rest of the story. I am 70 years old and have owned many very fast cars from Porsche, Vettes and bad Camaros. Even had a resto shop for a couple years. My Ranger is a great truck, purchased new with all the bells. Truck presently has about 30K miles. This is the slowest factory truck I have ever owned. Even my old 1968 Chev stepside with a 400 small block and 350 turbo trans would go a real 105. I may still have the ticket for proof. I just thot it was odd that a nice new truck would not peg the speedo. I was just checking out the top end. I have ridden motor cycles faster than 100MPH.
My Ranger is just for fun. I would rather drive this truck than any other. The answers are really diverse. Thanks to all. Frank

My Crown Vic police car would only do 128 MPH. Very annoying when you get there and can tell it has something holding it back.

just like my 2006 f150 is governed at 100, just need to get a programmer(or install a toggle switch on the VSS input on the computer(which im not in fault for damages or losses) but i didn't say that,
