My 1st Speeding Ticket

Yea thats right I read most threads that bash/trash or even nice things said about law enforcement and I say nothing, but the first time you work and fatailty accident within the city limits where most speedlimits dont go above 45 then you might want to through in your 2cents. Besides he only a few years younger then me and I ve done stupied things I just want him to thank about the other drives and peds on street no matter what time of day. It would be one thing if he realized what he did was wrong and stupid, but he didn't he thanks its funny and acceptable because of the time of day.

I never said i thought it was ok, what the hell am i supposed to do, get all worked up on one speeding ticket, and i even thanked the cop as he was walking away, and i had no idea i was going even close to that speed, i thought i was going about 90

all i still got to say is there is not that big of a diffrence between 90 and 125 i mena there numbers but still, ur ranger sucks down more, he might have diffrent suspension, i know that im the sport trac 125 felt way fast and know in the jetta its like psssh this shit is pussy and go up some more in sped

It doesn't matter if you're driving a Formula 1 race car, if something stepped out in front of you suddenly that would be the end for you and the other person and that speed. It's not about handling or feel, its about physics really.

im going to have to side with mutant pony on this one, for one, i think that is the ugliest body style of s-10 ever made....so its a "sleeper" cuz of the slight rake and stock rims....whoopee....ya know, i have had lots of friends that had a sbc, and after many buildups and teardowns and parts swapping we figured out that we gained a lot of milage and retained the same power with a holley 650. if you cant get the same power out of a smallblock chevy with a 650 then you need to learn how to tune a carb.....might as well bolt a coffee can to your intake and run a fuel line to it....



and you cant tell a 27mph difference?? the speedometer doesnt work in my girlfriends truck and both of us can drive within 1-2 mph of the speed limit just by going with the "seat of our pants". that is a direct lie, at 127 your motor's rpm is going to be way higher than normal and steering is going to be really touchy and your front end will wobble at those speeds....


when i had my rx7 i took that to the track as often as i could, and while i went 136mph there was without a doubt on how fast i was going, you knew how fast you were going....you just tried to make it look like you didnt know.....

hey dont feel bad ive driven that fast on public roads b4.......in germany.....on the autobahn.....incase anyone ever wondered, nissan maximas with the 140 gauges can easily break the 140mph mark and keep on goin lol

Actually my grandpa's 1989 S-10 has holes in the side of the bed I can fit both fists thru at the same time, don't know if I would call it the best. Everything from the cab ahead is perfect though, I know it's little 2.8 would whup the snot out of mine (it being a 5-speed helps too) He just got it for a big four wheeler to check fences and cows that can make a trip to town once in awhile, and it fills that role nicely.

That said I still like my Ranger more, it just doesn't seem so generic, but that is just my .02
